Supporting the Health and Well-Being of   America’s Veterans.

The Veterans Health and Wellness Foundation connects Veterans and their families with the education, resources, and guidance they need to navigate healthcare, access benefits, and build stronger, healthier communities.

Vission

VHWF envisions communities that possess the knowledge and capacity to not only identify and address service-related health challenges, but also to embrace, support, and empower veterans and their families who experience them.

Education

The VHWF Education Impact Program helps healthcare professionals better understand the unique health conditions and life experiences associated with military service.

We develop and deliver training programs for healthcare students, practicing professionals, community organizations, and Veteran families. These programs address topics such as military culture, service-related health conditions, environmental exposures, and the long-term health impacts of military service.

By improving awareness and knowledge across the healthcare system, VHWF helps ensure Veterans receive the informed, compassionate care they deserve.

Benefits Navigation

Transitioning from active service to Veteran status can be complex—especially for individuals managing injuries, illnesses, or conditions connected to their service.

The VA claims process is often difficult to navigate without support.

Through the VHWF VA Navigator Assistance Program (VA NAP), we connect Veterans and their families with knowledgeable representatives who guide them through the process step-by-step. Our goal is to make the system easier to understand and ensure Veterans feel confident and supported while accessing the benefits they have earned.

No Veteran should have to face this process alone.

Resource Connection

Health and wellness extend beyond medical care. Veterans and their families often need support across many areas of life—from healthcare and housing to employment and community connection.

The Veteran Medical Neighborhood Consortium ("The Neighborhood") is VHWF’s initiative designed to connect Veterans with organizations, businesses, and community services that understand and support the Veteran experience.

VHWF acts as a central hub where Veterans can discover trusted resources that address multiple aspects of well-being. Instead of navigating isolated programs individually, Veterans gain access to a connected network designed to support the whole person.

Because true wellness includes every part of life.
